Here's what was discussed in the GOAT Gaming Office Hours on July 10.
Office Hours go live every Thursday at 12:00 PM UTC on Discord and Telegram.
Tune in weekly to catch the latest updates, insights, and alpha drops!
Here are all the questions which were discussed;
Withdrawal Changes & Anti-Bot Measures
Q: What are the new withdrawal requirements and why were they introduced?
Withdrawals now require accounts to be 30 days old, reach level 10, deposit at least $100, and complete 100 paid matches. These measures were introduced to combat increasing exploit attempts. Since March, coordinated botnets have gamed free spins, referrals, and crown transfers, leading to big losses for GOAT Gaming. The changes aim to restore fairness, protect regular players, and ensure company sustainability. These rules are standard practice for real-cash gaming platforms.
Q: Does the $100 need to be spent? Is it locked forever?
The $100 requirement for withdrawals doesn’t mean you have to lose or give away that money—it refers to having at least $100 worth of total transaction volume (i.e., deposits used to play paid matches). You can still withdraw whatever remains after meeting the criteria (30-day-old account, level 10, 100 paid matches), so the funds are not locked or forfeited. This rule was introduced to stop bots and exploiters from mass-creating accounts and draining rewards without genuine engagement. Importantly, this $100 doesn’t count as revenue for GOAT Gaming unless you lose it in gameplay or spend it on in-game items—if you qualify, you’re free to withdraw it.
Q: Why not just use KYC instead of changing game mechanics?
KYC alone isn’t sufficient. The team encountered cases where attackers used stolen identities that passed KYC. Implementing KYC at scale would also hurt the Web3 user experience. The new rules introduce friction that makes large-scale exploits economically unviable.
Q: Are existing accounts and balances lost?
No. Your account, progress, and $GG balances remain. Only withdrawal requirements have been reset. You don’t need to re-spend—just fulfill the updated withdrawal conditions to cash out.
Season 4 Launch & Gameplay
Q: When is Season 4 launching?
The planned launch date is July 24. A teaser and trailer are coming soon.
Q: What’s different in Season 4 compared to past seasons?
Season 4 features a new idle RPG-style game, themed around Telegram gifts (like those used in the Snoop Dogg collection). It's designed for deeper engagement without requiring purchases. Players will see clearer progress paths and instant rewards, reducing the grind. Unlike previous seasons with complex tasks and conditions, Season 4 will be more straightforward.
Q: Will Crowns or spending be required to play Season 4?
No. The core game experience is free-to-play and does not require crowns or purchases. Rewards will favor participation and consistent play, not just spending.
Q: Will the game be RNG-based again?
No. This season’s gameplay will involve strategic decisions. While not complex, players who think ahead will see better returns, adding a layer of skill.
Mystery Boxes & Season 3 Wrap-up
Q: What’s the deadline for claiming Season 3 rewards?
July 14 is the last day to claim mystery boxes and $GG tokens from Season 3. After that, unclaimed rewards will be returned to the treasury for future reallocation. Active players are encouraged to check the $GG page in the app to avoid missing out.
Mighty Action Heroes Shutdown
Q: Why is Mighty Action Heroes being discontinued?
The game will be decommissioned around July 22. Despite its loyal fanbase, the team couldn’t port it to Telegram effectively—browser-based gameplay there suffers from poor UX and latency. With limited resources, the team chose to focus on GOAT Gaming, AI integrations, and the new season. They remain hopeful about bringing the game back in a more suitable format in the future.
Q: Why not make it open source like Blast Royale?
Unlike Blast Royale, GOAT Gaming is still operational. Mighty Action Heroes relies on internal tech that can’t be open sourced without exposing proprietary infrastructure. The project isn't being abandoned—it’s on pause until the right opportunity arises.
Genesis GOATs & AlphaGOATs
Q: Are Genesis GOAT NFTs still useful?
Yes. Genesis GOATs continue to offer benefits, including token allocation at TGE and boosts in all past seasons. They will play a role in Season 4’s progression system (details coming soon). The team is also encouraging community-led initiatives like those seen in Pudgy Penguins or Neo Tokyo, and is open to supporting community-driven ideas.
Q: What about AlphaGOATs? Where can we use them now?
Initially designed for Mighty Action Heroes, AlphaGOATs will shift toward compatibility with current and future games in the ecosystem. Dedicated AlphaGOATs experiences are still in development.
TGE Updates & Market Positioning
Q: Is TGE still happening in Q3?
The team remains cautious. Recent gaming token launches (e.g., Endless Clouds, Revolving Games) have flopped, often crashing 90% within days. Exchanges are hesitant to support gaming tokens unless market sentiment shifts. GOAT Gaming is repositioning its narrative to emphasize AI, which is more favorable in the current climate.
Q: Is there a new narrative strategy beyond gaming?
Yes. The team is aligning with the AI trend, especially as 2025 is expected to be a breakout year for AI. Amy and related AI features are part of this strategy, offering potential levers for a more successful TGE.
Q: Can we convert Crowns to $GG or vice versa?
Not yet. $GG tokens can only be claimed once they’re live on an exchange. Until then, no direct conversion is possible.
Community, Raffles & Feedback
Q: What about the $50K raffle? When will that happen?
Originally planned for TGE, the team is now considering separating it from the TGE timeline due to the uncertainty. More clarity will be shared soon
Q: Will there be more NFT raffles like the TON gift event?
Yes. Community feedback was positive, and Season 4 will focus heavily on GIFTS. Expect multiple opportunities to earn and win Telegram NFTs (GIFTS) throughout the season.
This is centralization in all its forms. You can not provide any direct answer to when the token will be launch. Maybe we should just perhaps remodel the question:
Will there ever be a token ?
What’s all this pen and paper game? What’s your plan moving forward to retain faithful players after this move, or do you think we can only agree with your pen and paper game that’s likely to have been some AI prompts? Cos basically what you said in this post is, let me breakdown for you;
1. TGE not happening this year
2. Users don’t have access to withdraw their converted crowns unless they deposit $100 (what happened to KYC?)
3. You are shifting your narratives from gaming to AI (Why do you still retains those games?)
Why no KYC ? your new statement of deposit $100 to prove you’re not a bot instead of doing KYC is a scam. This skips standard identity checks, which could invite regulatory trouble, like fines seen in Curaçao’s recent crackdowns. KYC costs teams $100,000–$500,000 yearly for software, staff, and compliance, so you guys are likely cutting costs and banking on quick user deposits. But it feels sketchy, and users might lose trust or funds.
what happened if telegram suddenly banned user’s account, how do you intend to recover their funds? You are not a regulated company and hence moving like a scam ever since.
Why would a sensible person deposit $100 with your claim that users used to game KYC? You guys are |abs| something else, you are going against the rules of KYC for $100 per player after some users bought NFTs , are they bots too? Users that have been showing up for over 320days are being regarded as Bots.
If you have change narrative to AI , fucking keep to it, user spent their time, internet and risk their health playing your games, you earn multiples from your users who you supposedly called bots. Then you have no roadmap to even begin with. This is a scam company and im posting this live on my X!
Well said
