$GG Token Launch Update
Important information about our TGE.
GOAT Tribe, we know you’ve been hyped for the $GG token launch, and we appreciate your patience. We wanted to give you an update on the situation and a rundown for those who missed the Office Hours discussion on March 6 that covered all this.
What Happened?
Our original target for TGE was March 6, but due to exchange schedules and ongoing negotiations, we have to wait for an appropriate date as set by exchanges and the terms of the negotiation. (Announcement here).
Why the Delay?
Top-tier exchanges operate on strict schedules, and to secure the best possible launch conditions, we need to align with their timelines. The good news is - we’ve locked in multiple exchange offers, but the listing process depends on various factors. Instead of rushing into a deal that could hurt our ecosystem long-term, we’re ensuring we launch under the best terms for stability and long-term value for holders.
What’s Next?
We expect the launch to happen within the next 2-3 months, but it could be sooner. Our priority is a balanced launch strategy, leveraging both centralized exchanges (CEXs) and decentralized exchanges (DEXs) for better liquidity, visibility, and overall stability.
What happens to AlphaGOATs and Genesis GOATs?
AlphaGOATs remain part of the ecosystem, with GG token rewards and eventual NFT tradability.
Genesis GOATs will continue to play a significant role with staking boosts and ecosystem perks.
What about Season Rewards?
Season 1 & 2 rewards will unlock at TGE.
Season 3 rewards will have a short vesting period (a few days to weeks post-TGE).
Future seasons will have clearer timelines (possibly every three months).
We’ve added a Boost $GG TGE Allocation feature—giving both qualified and unqualified users a chance to increase their TGE $GG allocation!
Road to $GG Season 1 and Season 2 allocations remain unchanged. Each season also includes a separate additional $GG allocation, which can be secured using $GG Boosters.
Post-TGE Priorities
Our Tokenomics model remains stable, but we may adjust some minor things.
The Vault system will play a key role in rewarding loyal players who lock their $GG token to get additional rewards.
More community initiatives are coming to keep the tribe engaged as we move closer to TGE.
